1. If the buyer requests to purchase the IPR, the buyer proposes the desired purchase price to the seller.
2. The seller can check the desired purchase price and accept or reject it, and if the price is not suitable, the seller proposes a price adjustment and proposes the amount.
3.After the price negotiation is completed, the buyer is requested to pay the purchase price and transfer fee for the IPR, and the transfer (or change in right relationship) will proceed upon completion of the deposit.
4-1. If the seller is a university research center, the seller deposits the purchase price to the research center, and the transfer (or change in right relationship) fee to the intermediary.
4-2.If the seller is an individual or a corporation, the seller will deposit the sale amount and the transfer fee to the intermediary.
5. The necessary documents for the transfer of rights (or change of rights relationship) are the power of attorney of the buyer and the seller, the transfer certificate, and the seal certificate (individual or corporation).
6. Once the documents are completed, the intermediary will submit the documents to the Korean Intellectual Property Office, and when the transfer of rights (or change of rights relationship) is completed, the seller will receive the remaining fee
except for the intermediary fee of 10~15%.
