영문 원어 : An objective of the present invention is to use an eco-friendly fatty acid-based organic solvent to remove heavy metal ions dissolved in water. Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for removing heavy metal ions which use a phenomenon where complex compounds between fatty acid-based organic solvents having heavy metal ions and a carboxylic group or complex compounds between heavy metal ions and a separate ligand are dispersed onto organic solvents through an interface of water and a corresponding fatty acid-based organic solvent to remove heavy metal ions. The corresponding method and apparatus specifically use an eco-friendly fatty acid-based organic solvent to remove harmful heavy metal ions in an aqueous solution without supplying additional power to supplement and replace a conventional heavy metal removal technique to be widely used in home and industrial water purification facilities and wastewater treatment facilities.

요약 : 물에 녹아 있는 중금속 이온을 제거하고자 친환경의 지방산 계열 유기 용매를 이용한다. 즉, 중금속 이온과 카르복실기를 가지는 지방산 계열 유기 용매간 착화합물 또는 중금속 이온과 별도 리간드 간의 착화합물이 물 및 해당 지방산 계열 유기용매 계면을 통해 유기용매 상으로 확산되는 현상을 이용하여 중금속 이온을 제거하는 중금속 이온 제거 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 해당 방법 및 장치는, 수용액 속 유해한 중금속 이온을 특히 지방산 계열의 친환경 유기용매를 이용하여, 추가적인 전력 공급 없이 제거할 수 있어 기존의 중금속 제거 기술을 보완, 대체하여 가정용, 산업용 정수 시설과 폐수 처리 시설 등에서 광범위하고 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
