영문 원어  : The present invention relates to a delta-sigma modulator. The delta-sigma modulator comprises: a first integrator for integrating a quantization noise; an analog signal processing block having a predetermined transfer function and transferring an output signal of the first integrator to a second integrator; the second integrator for integrating an output signal of the analog signal processing block; an adder for summing up a feed-forward signal of the input signal and the output signal of the second integrator; and a quantizer for quantizing an output signal of the adder. The analog signal processing block replaces a path of the feed-forward between the first integrator and the adder. Therefore, the area and power of the modulator can be reduced while maintaining the advantages of a conventional feed-forward structure.
