영문 원어  : According to the present invention, a contents based image searching method comprises: a first step of allowing a user terminal to select a part of example images, and generating a query image by selecting and synthesizing one or more part areas among selected part images; a second step of normalizing the query image to a predetermined first size and dividing the normalized query image into a plurality of equal areas with a predetermined second size; a third step of receiving a part of the areas as an interested area, generating query information by combining each image corresponding to interested areas with interested area position information having positions of the interested areas, and transmitting the query information to the outside; a fourth step of detecting visual technician feature information for each image for the interested areas when a contents based image searching system receives the query information; and a fifth step of searching similar images by comparing the visual technician feature information of the image of the areas corresponding to the interested area positon information of the query information with visual technician feature information for each image of the interested areas of the query information for each image stored in a database, and returning a search result to the user terminal. The present invention stores the image in the database, equally divides the image into a plurality of areas with the predetermined second size after normalizing the image to the predetermined first size, detects each visual technician feature information for the divided areas, and stores the same in advance. According to the present invention, a user can easily search a desired image.
